The Chemistry Department was started in 1990 at the time of opening of College. The degree course in chemistry (B.Sc.) was started in the year 1992.

The Department started two years Master’s Degree course in Organic Chemistry in the year 2005 which is taught in four semesters. The M.Sc. course is delivered by variety of lectures, interactive teaching, seminars which will be assessed usually in measurable terms, knowledge, attitudes and beliefs through examination, skill development technique (optimum efforts), reports and assignments.

During the programme student will have an opportunity to develop the state of art, practical training and to receive latest skill and knowledge of chemicals and industrial field which will touch to all the branches of chemistry.
