Types of Ration Card 2025
- Below Poverty Line (BPL) Ration card: BPL ration card is a card which will be provided to all the citizens of Punjab state who fall under the poverty line category. Under this card at present 35 kgs of wheat are being distributed to the card holders @ INR 4.27 per kg per family per month; 4,30,000 families have been covered under this scheme in the State.
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Ration card: The Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Ration card There is a Ration card for all the citizen of Punjab State who are belong to the category of Antyodaya. Under this card, 35 kgs of wheat are being provided to the AAY card holders @ Rs. 2.00 per kg per family per month to the 71.700 AAY families.
- Above Poverty Line (APL) Ration card: All the citizens belonging to the state of Punjab are going to receive an APL ration card provided they come above the poverty line category. In that, 48,89,189 families are covered under it. Now 35 kgs of wheat is being supplied per family to every APL card holder on an average rate @ INR.5.27 per kg/month.
