Tripura TET Eligibility 2025 For Paper 1
TET Paper 1 is meant for the aspiring teachers of classes I-V. One needs to qualify the following eligibility criteria.
- A candidate needs to have Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name) as per NCTE Regulations 2002 or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session up to 2004-05.
- Also, candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Candidates must have 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session up to 2004-05) by any name.
- B. ED candidates with 50% marks can also participate in this exam.
Tripura TET Eligibility 2025 For Paper 2
Paper 2 is for those candidates who can teach students from class 6 to 8. The eligibility criteria for these candidates is as follows.
- For Tripura TET Paper 2, candidates must have a graduation degree with 3-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Along with this, graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is also required
Graduation with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), as applicable under NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
- If someone has Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree, then he/she qualifies under this eligibility criterion.
- Eligible candidates who have passed with 50% marks in the Senior Secondary or equivalent and with 4 year BA / B.Sc. Ed or BA. Ed / B.Sc. Ed are eligible to appear for this exam.
- Candidates who completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and Bachelor of Education in Special Education
- (B.Ed.) can also apply as they fall within the eligibility criterion.
- Relaxation up to 5% in qualifying marks is given for SC/ST/PH category candidates.
Tripura TET Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The T-TET Paper-I is for those who want to teach Classes I–V. Total time of the test 2.5 hours. The test will have five compulsory sections. Each section will have 30 questions with one mark for each, aggregating to 150 marks. The pattern of the test is as follows.
